Khaw Boon Wan is rite to ramp up supply of rental flats

Every ministry MBT went, he screwed it up big time in the sense that
ordinary Singaporeans ended up paying more or suffering all sorts of
inconveniences. However he has the full backing of LKY who actually liked
what MBT was doing - forcing Singaporeans to face the full blast of the open
market. So the ultimate blame for all the misguided policies of the pap over
the last 20 years including those while GCT was PM can be put squarely on
LKY dogmatic rightwing ultra-capitalist ideology. In the old days there were
the other old guards like Dr Goh, Dr Toh and Ong Pang Boon to check on LKY
excesses. When he prematurely retired them in the name of self-renewal for
all except himself, he has a free hand to push his ultra-capitalist ideology
all the way. LKY has publicly stated there is no free lunch in Singapore. He
has said that the bus he is driving don't take free loaders. All passengers
are full fee paying. He has made welfare a dirty word within the pap.
In short the papist ministers are just doing what LKY wanted them to.
