This aritcle is saying the Orchard road level raising by 300 mm to
prevent flooding. It was started last year November and to finish end
this month.
It seemed to say the road level upgrade is not working as it did not
prevent flooding in Orchard road.
So now the $26 million road raising work is wasted for nothing, as it
did not prevent flooding or to drain off the flood waters fast enough.
Whose idea was it that the rasing of road level will help drain off
the waters?
The scholar CEO Khoo Teng Chye should be sacked as he is a useless guy
whose imcompetency from job to job seeemd to have been seriously
eroded. He should be replaced and drop out of the civil service.
Pelandok :
It's a good time to ask for funds for a Botanic Gardens/Tanglin Golf
Course Supplementary Water Storage Reservoir/Sump to capture all this
water for domestic drinking water usage. Or a tunnel storage reservoir/
sump under Tanglin Road.
Store the water, then pump it to the water treatment plant ahead of
the queue.
The money saved from instead of recycling sewage water can pay for the
infrastructure over a term of years.
If a water bottling plant is sited in Tanglin, we can have better
profits, after every heavy rain, besides providing some employment.

The Enviroment Minister should be taken to task. Apparently he can't
even manage the water flow in a lonkang! Send him to work in a little
canal, he will probably drown. If you tasked him to work on a river,
he probably will go down on his knees to plead for mercy!
